Goal Keeper Academy (U12-U17)
We are happy to have Patrick Di Stefani coaching our keeper academy for the outdoor season. Our program will focus on specific technical and tactical skills that goalies must learn in order to compete at any level.This program is available to all of our U12-17 Rec and Force Players.
Location: Canadian Mennonite University 600 Shaftesbury Blvd (Soccer pitch)
Time: Sundays 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Coach Patrick Di Stefani Bio
Patrick Di Stefani focus9 owner brings 27years of professional and international coaching experience to focus9. Patrick was born and raised in Uccle, Belgium, where he later played in a third division soccer league.
Prior to immigrating to Canada, Patrick’s professional coaching career began in Belgium with the Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht Youth Football Academy in the first division Belgium Jupiler League as strength and conditioning coach and ended with the second division Belgium League club Union St. Gilloise as the assistant coach/strength and conditioning coach.
Since his arrival in Canada, Patrick has coached in several different provinces. In Quebec, Patrick was the Assistant coach /strength and conditioning coach for the women’s program at the University of Laval. He served as a Technical director for the Association de Soccer de Charlesbourg ( 2200 players), responsible for overseeing all programs including the goalie academy, instructing coaching staff, and creating the first international coach and player development exchange program between the club, and different professional clubs in the first division Belgium League. Patrick also worked as a technical coach at the Francois Bourrin Residential Soccer Program in Quebec City.
In Winnipeg, Patrick has coached three MMSL Premier League Teams, Italinter FC, Lucania and Hellas Soccer Club. During his tenure as the Hellas Soccer Club Head Coach Patrick led the team to their first national competition in the history of the club (two consecutive years). Patrick was the head coach for the Manitoba U13, U14, Western Canada and Canada Games teams, for both the female and male teams. Patrick holds a FA Goalie Licence, Canadian Provincial B license, Personal Trainer Diploma, and he is also a certified Speed Agility and Quickness instructor.
Patrick served 10 years as the coaching staff for the Manitoba provincial teams and 4 years with National Training Center based in Winnipeg Manitoba under Rob Gale.
Since 2006 Patrick is the football analyst for Ici Radio Canada TV and Radio (Winnipeg, Manitoba).
Patrick as volunteer his time since 2004 as Strength and Conditioning Coach as well as a Goalie coach for the Canadian Mennonite University in Winnipeg.
Patrick’s last assignment was in Spain and he was working as the Sport Director for the LA MINA Meditarrean Football Centre. Patrick was also responsible for the academic development side of the High Performance Centre.
Patrick has trained top amateur and college athletes in Canada and professional European Soccer Players.
